Weights & baby animals

I did some weight training during my lunch break . My very modified version of NF's Body Weight Workout includes:
  • 5 minute warmup.
  • 20 goblet squats.
  • 10 assisted tricep dips.
  • 10 hamstring raises.
  • 10 assisted chinups.
  • 30 low plank obliques twists.
Also, for the first time ever, I had the weight room entirely to myself for about 10 minutes. It was awesome.

I love my weight training days. More than physical benefits, weight training really helps with self esteem and body image issues. Plus, I'm a numbers gal that loves to log workouts. Seeing improvements is a great feeling.

Husband and I went for a walk after dinner. This is becoming one of my favorite rituals. It helps me digest, gives me a chance to enjoy the weather, and allows us more time to catch up.

Because we live in the city, greenspace can be hard to come by, so we like to stroll through a giant cemetery nearby. It sounds strange, but it's not uncommon to see other walkers and joggers there as well. Plus, I like to see the animals that live inside:
